    Collecting social security disability eviction rights chicago?
    I'm collecting s.s. disablity and being evicted do I have any added protection

    Why should you ? Are these government rentals or is it owned by a private person.

    Why should you cause another person to lose money and even cause them harm in their budgets.

    Buit no, you are expected to pay your rent the same as anyone else.

    Individual states may have some laws, such as the right to pay late if you were hospitalized during the time the rent wasn't being paid. But there isn't even an excuse for that, because a hospital would assign a social worker to you to take care of your SSD income, bills due, and bank account.

    In good economic times, there are programs to help the disabled when they lose their apartments (just spending your check doesn't count), but those aren't guaranteed by any laws, and now there are far fewer such programs.
