How do I hook a breaker box to another breaker box
The two boxes are only a foot apart and are both connected to separate meters but only one has power,in stead of turning on both meters I think it would be cheaper to run both sides of my duplex to one meter since I am remodeling it to be one family residence

I merged your two questions, as they are both related.

The service entrance is sized for two dwellings. If you put all of the load from one apartment onto the panel for the other you will overload that panel.

Either keep both meters and panels separate, or invest in a new service with only one meter and panel large enough to handle the entire home.
