Hello,
My cycle normally runs every 28 days and my husband and I had unprotected sex January 5 and January 9 and I was supposed to start my period on January 8 and it is still not here. Could I possibly be pregnant and it is just too early too tell and if there is a possibility when should I be able to tell? My temperature is normally around 96 or 97 some degrees and today it is 98.5 and a couple days ago I realized I had clear stretchy discharge. Please help me figure out what the issue could be and when I should be able to test for pregnancy.

It is not common to become pregnant from sex just before a period, but it can happen. Since your period hasn't shown, it would be a good time to try a test. If it is negative, wait and see what happens when your next period would be due in case this was just a one off.

If still no period, or if before that time you feel you start to have other possible signs of pregnancy, such as your temp staying elevated, try another test sooner if you want to.

Thank you for your help. A couple days ago I had a slight fever of 99.5 but didn't feel sick, just had hot flashes and I still continue to have them. Today I started spotting pink, red, and brown. Would the timing work out for implantation bleeding?

It's possible... although most women never notice implantation bleeding, the timing would be about right if you became pregnant from the sex on the 9th. Implantation occurs roughly about a week or so after conception.

Have you tried a pregnancy test?

My cycle is every 25 day but I had unprotected sex with my husband on December 31,3 days before my period can I become pregnant

Yes you could be, your fertile times are not related to when your have your period, so unless you are tracking your exact fertile times it is hard to say.

You can become preganant at anytime during the month, even having sex on your period, depending on your own body.

You will just have to wait and see if pregnancy occurs.
