    Is this normal ?
I have been taking loestrin 30 since September. I changed from another pill(mycrogynon) as I was having break through bleeding. However since changing to Loestrin on my seven days off I haven't been bleeding at all! I have taken a pregnancy test and it was negative. I just wondered whether it was normal or not?
Also in your seven day break are you still protected to have sex?

Some women will find that their periods are lighter or irregular on birth control pills, especially in the first few months. Some women will rarely have periods at all, so it is likely due to the loestrin. Certainly it would be wise for you to continue to try a pregnancy test before each new pack just in case since you aren't having periods, at least not yet, to go by.

For the peace of mind, if you continue to not have any bleeding, let your doctor be aware.

You are protected during the inactive week as well.
