Yes you can basically dye black over any colour.. but may I suggest a semi permanent? I have my hair dyed jet black and I'm wishing I should have used a semi permanent.. firstly you can only change black by letting it all grow out, secondly, no other hair dye will go over black except maybe.. black!LOL
