    Write the Functional group
Well I need to write the Functional group that existing in the chemical composition of amino acid Threonine. So I think the Functional group of the amino acid Threonine (you can see in the picture) is:
    1)COOH
    2)NH2
3)R (Pendant group) I am not sure here.

B)i asked to Specify the location of the Functional group on the Structure formula of Threonine. So I mark in red what I know but I still need help

The amine, alcohol and acid groups are functional groups. The carbon atoms are not functional groups. The chemical name of threonine is 2-amino-3-hydroxybutanoic acid.

You're a and b parts are correct, but your part c should be: OH of the R group.

I would rather encircle the groups asked for. So you encircle NH2, COOH and OH.

Um... it's the same, I just enlarged it :o

You can see the blue thing at the top left I forgot to remove which was in the attachment of pop000 :p

If it were to me me, I'd to the full structural (meaning showing all the bonds, just in case)
