Spent the night in jail.bond was $320. I just got a job. Only saved like $300. Don't think I'll have another check before the court date. Filled out the app. For public defender. Do you have to have the full fine the day of court? If you don't do they send you to jail. This happened out of state. If I get probabtion do you think they will let me do it in my home state? Do they ever reduce the fine?

What did you do to end up in jail over shop lifting, I have never heard of that, Did you cause a lot of problems to the officer ( make him mad or something ?)

First of course if you paid a cash bond, the bond can be applied to the fine normaly also. ** unless you paid a bail bondsmen in which case they keep any money you paid them.

But first ask or have your attorney ask about a first offender program.
