Like BG, I feel really fortunate to have finally quit after many frustrating and failed attempts. I had to come to an understanding that I was literally in a fight of my life and to make it a priority just like that. This last time I was willing to DO WHAT IT TAKES!

It does get easier as BG said. I noticed a remarkable easiness setting in at about ninety days. I was using the patch and cutting them into smaller and smaller sizes until it was about the size of a dime by then. At ninety days, I was no longer even thinking about cigs and smokers didn't turn my head either. I quit thinking I couldn't and it was a big big boost to the esteem to have succeeded. I like how clean everything is AND I did some cool things with all the money I saved too. I kept two patches just in case, swearing to myself that if I ever get the notion to light up again, I would slam that patch on so fast LOL. Just a few years ago, I finally threw them out as they were old at that point.

So ladies, one day at a time, keep putting off that one ciggy and you will be amazed at what eventually comes to pass. It does get easier and easier, I promise.

    Morning you!

I'm probably not going to be posting much today... I'm swamped here at work, plus I'm feeling all sorts of crabby.

Good job on staying on the Top Branch yet another day!

People who are quitting get to be all sorts of crabby sometimes -- just make sure its not too much to the boss, okay? LOL

I had to give up coffee at first too. It was such "ciggy hook" for me. Talk about CRABBY!! So please, have all the temper tantrum you like on us. We'll understand.

PS - Coffee tastes even better now but it took a while before I got it back.

Well, ol' cutie Millies is in good company, me thinks! I too loved boxes as a wee one. Open the brithday present and set aside the item whilst I played in the box LOL. My parents were so miffed by it, they threatened to wrap up big empty boxes for gifts for me. Oh and Allheart, laundry baskets were tempting too. LOL

Omg did I really start something with the laundry basket down the stairs.
Christine, that's my favorite color by the way.
Lauren, when you mail Millie to me make sure she has holes poked in the box and plenty of cheese puffs to keep her happy . The problem is once I get her (hehe) I may just keep her.
I'm doing just fine today. Hubby went for a hair cut and the boys are in school. I have a few errands to run and plan on treating myself to lun ch for staying at 3 cans of caffienated cola.
Syn, pop in when you can. You know someone is always here.
Val, welcome to the branch with us. The more the merrier.
Joe, I hope you're feeling better and I hope your little guy is doing better with teething. I'll also accept him by mail too.

We're talking more about each other and ourselves than we are about smoking. Were on the right track and I couldn't be happier or prouder of everyone here. Just think lauren of all the inspiration you're offering by what you started. In have a godive chocolate cheese cake with your name on it.
(psssst don't tell ben, but its better than sex):p

I have now made it 25 days. At the end of today, it will be 26.

I'm going to treat myself tomorrow. Facial, manicure, haircut, you name it.

I'm so tired of feeling blah and frumpy and tired and... and... and... BLAH!

My husband is finally hitting grumpy with quitting, so we're really rubbing each other wrong this week.

At least my mom cancelled this weekend, so I don't have to make that long drive tonight!

Shoot the works sweetie. You've earned it. All goddesses are required to be pampered as part of our exalted rank on mt. olympus.
Hubby will be all right, especially with you giving him support. In that case he can't do none better than you.
I did the same last weekend and came home feeling like a new woman.

Well I just made my appointment for a facial :) Haven't had one in years. And since I am only up to 9 days, not going to get the works. But when I reach 20, Look out!! :)

How is everyone today? Synnen, oh honey, I know what you mean. My poor hubby, everything he is doing is getting on my nerves. Isn't that awful... but I got a cup of tea and took a nap and feel a little better. Baby Allheart is at the groomers now, how cute :)

Chippers, way to go with the 3 cans. Blue is your favorite color? It is so pretty!!

Hey CBW, how's my girl? You got to come clean... what two things are better than sex?
    Hee hee.. fess up girl.

Hey CBW, I just love that pic of Millie in her box. I honestly don't think it gets any cuter than that.

No pics of BabyAllheart. They cut her hair too short and no bow this time :(. She still looks so pretty, maybe I will take a pic of her. It is so cold out and they cut her beautiful hair so short. I honestly think Mr. Allheart called ahead and asked them too.

Oooooh love the bubble bath CBW, adding it to my list for the day :)

I'm sooooo tempted to get another kitty lately... only I want a Rag Doll. We already have two, though, and I just lost one. We still live in an apartment, so 3 cats is just too many. But... I keep seeing pictures of kittens and I WANT one!

It's beautiful outside today... 33 degrees right now! Supposed to get cold starting this weekend, though. You know that old rhyme... 30 days hath November? My version goes like this:

    Thirty days hath November
    April, June, and September
    All the rest have thirty-one
    Except January and February
    Which last FOREVER.

    Hi everyone,

    Baby Allheart here.

Boy put in my day. Mommy is trying to not put those funny looking white things in her mouth that makes fog or something come out of her when she talks and Daddy is walking a straight line this weekend. He’s not reaching for the cans in the fridge, that after he drinks a whole lot of them, makes him think he can sing songs really loudly. Something’s very wrong in my house, but think I will stick around till after dinner and my evening treats.

To top off this bizarre day, Daddy decides it’s time I get another hair cut. Guess he hasn’t listen to the weather report as it is 30 degrees below zero and my hair was keeping me very warm. The silly lady cutting my hair, had a field day with the scissors, and this big German Shepard kept trying to make the moves on me while she was doing it. To top it all off, I didn’t even get a bow. All I got was this silly pink bunny from my Mommy and Daddy, but it has no eyes. What the heck am I supposed to do with a pink bunny, in the middle of the winter, with no eyes.

My Mommy tells me all of you are very nice and have helped her a great deal. So thank you for that very much.

Well, I better get going now and see what those two are up to now. Uh oh, Mommy has a laundry basket in her hands, and has this very odd smile on her face. Hmmm she never smiled before when it was laundry time. I better keep my eye on her.

    Love you all,
    Baby Allheart
