    Is vaginal discharge the sign that my period is coming?
    Im only 12, and I think I missed my period, and I think I have vaginal discharge. Im a virgin. Please help me, is it normal?

    You need to go to the doctor, discharge is normal but for your age not, you may have an infection and if untreated will become very painful and will not go away without medication.

    Have you had your first period yet? Discharge can be a sign that your period is about to come.

    If there is no odor, itching, burning, or pain, I wouldn't be too concerned about infection.

    Why is discharge for her age "not normal"? My mother-in-law had her period by the time she was 11 years old. A lot of my friends had their period at 12 years old. There is nothing abnormal about her condition at all.

    To purplee: you could have "missed" your period for a few reasons.
    1. If you are sexually active, you may be pregnant.
    2. If you haven't had your period for very long, you may still be regulating. When I first got my period, it took me a full year before my body was on a regular 28 day cycle.
