    Boyfriend birthday gift!
My boyfriend will be 23 next Month and it's our second year together.
Last year I got him a wallet but he didn't seem to like it! In fact, he didn't even use it.
So this year I thought about getting him something he likes, a vintage signed jersey of his favorite soccer team. But it is kind of expensive, so I'm not quite sure if I should go for it or not.

    Opinions??

The gift shouldn't matter as long as it comes from the heart. No one should feel that they have to get a gift that they cannot actually afford just to please their partner. I would get him something that you can afford, perhaps tickets to a game if that is less then a vintage jersey?

Ask him what he would like if you're not sure. I like to get gifts that I actually want. If its not too expensive you can add a little surprise gift

I think sometimes trying to pick the right gift can be stressful. So, maybe you could give him a giftcard to a store you're certain he would buy from. Little gift cards to Starbucks (if he likes coffee), a sportstore, and maybe a gift card to a restaurant where both of you can have a nice dinner at.

Gift cards are "safer" because you put the power of choosing what the person would prefer to have in his hands rather than trying to guess at what is appropriate.

Lastly, if he doesn't respond well to gifts, maybe he has a hard time receiving love and attention that way... in which case, no gift will really matter all that much. I have no idea whether that's the case, but I'm just surmising.
