    No hot water pressure
I have good hot water pressure in basement and kitchen, however the bathroom upstairs I have great cold water pressure but no hot water pressure. I replaced the hot water heater that went out with new I hoped that would help. No change it is the same in the shower upstairs. I have new copper plumbing all though the house. Help Please. I did try shooting though the lines and that did not help either.

    Hi Jhughek...

How is the hot pressure to the rest of the upstairs bathroom? I'll assume hot pressure is OK as you have specifically mentioned only the shower issue, but let me know if I missed on that...

The first thought I have is for you to check under the trim plate of the shower and see is you have any integral shutoffs going to the shower valve... if so, open them full open and see if that helped.

Next, would be to check and see if you have an acces panel behind the shower unit. As unlikely as this is, some people still install shutoffs to shower valves and there may be access behind the valve. Again, if the shutoffs are there... open wide and see if that helped.

Finally, if all that fails, you'll want to disassemble the shower valve itself and pull the mixing cartridge and flush water through the valve without the guts in place. At the same time, inspect the cartridge and all its ports, etc. and see if there is anything obvious. If need be, you may even want to replace the mixing cartridge itself to eliminate that as the suspect and hopefully that will help, OK?

Start at above and maybe post a little more info. On this...
