1950s and before movie
It's a very old color movie with a big male star. He somehow ends up going to jail which just so happen to be in tents. This man wins the respect of the other and they all admire him. At one point his sick mother comes to visit him, however someone else is driving and she is in the bed of the truck with a wagon type cover over. He doesn't speak much. He ends up escaping I believe 2 times. One in which he sends a picture pretending to pose by girls and his inmates go wild over it. He gets caught and the last time he escapes is with someone else. He ends up getting shot and killed. And in the end of the movie they show different clips of him smiling and talking about how he didn't speak much and how theyd remember his smile.
