I am looking for artist of a song from mid eighties. Lyrics goes like something like this: "I need you, ... I need you like the lyrics needs a song, ... " ore something like this,. I guess it was one hit wonder for me,. Please help,.

Thank U J_9,. I know this song of America, but unfortunately this is not the song I am looking for. The song I am looking for is more like disco-dance-pop song with a nice melody from the mid eighties,. Thank you anyway,. much obliged :)
