I am on total disability and my company will not let me have my 401K
I am on total disability and have been for 3 yrs. My company will not let me get to my 401K unless I tell them I quit, I took a dr. release to them 3 yrs ago but they would not take me back to work. How do they consider me still working there? Is there any way I can get my 401K?

Have you applied for Social Security? If you have, have you been accepted or denied? What are the facts behind how you became disabled? Your 401k company has the right to ask you to apply for other benefits that you may be legally eligible for. If you are approved your payments may be offset and your 401k will last longer. Let's say your 401k can pay you $1,000.00 a month. Social Security approves you for $600.00 a month. Your 401k would pay the difference, $400.00. Get more facts for us.
