    Does being sued stop the statue of limitations in GA ? It runs out before pretrial.

    The timer stops as soon as a suit is filed. That's what an SOL is about. It's the time one has to file legal action. So once legal action is filed, SOL becomes moot.

    The time stops when filed, when the case finally makes it to court, has no bearing
