Like calif said, fasting is not for weight loss. Starving yourself can actually cause your metabolism to slow down. A better weight loss approach would be to have small, well portioned, healthy meals and snacks throughout the day and to exercise more.

Fasting is only going to make your body go into survival mode because it thinks it is starving. You will likely GAIN wait in that 30 hours. IF 30 hours of torturing yourself is even enough to affect you at all, other than dropping your sugar levels and giving you a headache.


But anyway. 30 hours is 1.25 days :)

If you fast, your body will go into overdrive and will keep the fat cells for survival but give up the normal cells.

As a muslim I fast in ramadan, and yes I put on wieght instead of losing it! Eat healthyly, stay active in body and mind, and remember, confidence, confidence confidence!
