    qualify to prorate taxes nyc nonresident rule?

    If you work in ny 3 days a week = 165 days a year and spend 170 days in nj and 30 days in DC can you prorate your ny nyc income tax?

    All NYC residents must pay NYC income tax. You say you work in NYC, but the question is: where do you live? Do you have an apartment in NYC where you spend 165 nights/year in order to work in NYC?
