    Apostasy means to give up ones faith or to stop believing. The Bible teaches that many will stop believing before the Day of the Lord comes. (2 Thessalonians 2:3) The exact phrase is "falling away." "Falling away" from your faith is the same as apostasy.

    I'm aware of what apostasy is. I just don't understand the OP's question as related to it.
