    Gas furnace not cutting on, white rodgers thermostat not clicking when moving lever
    Fan works and ac cuts on but furnace will not by moving thermostat

    Remove the red and white wires from the tstat,, jumper them together,, this bypasses the tstat,, if furnace works you will know it's the problem of the tstat,, if doesn`t work your problem is either in the tstat wires or the furnace itself. You didn`t say what kind of furnace you have or if its gas,oil,or electric,, so more info needed to be of any help,, you can make sure the breakers or fuses are OK,,

    It is a gas furnace, Trane. Don't have a red wire, blue, white and beige in thermostat. You mean get a wire open on each end and touch the two? Breaker is OK as far as I know. The thermostat works fine for ac or fan. Checked that but not heat

    You may need to take the thermostat off the wall and tell us what color wires are coming out of the wall. There should be al least four wires coming from wall.
