    If it is black and painful go to an STD clinic and have it diagnosed.

    If there is a discolored "lump" or even a painful lump. And you have both, it could well be the sign of something serious.

    How long have you had it,
    Have you done anything different that may effect it.

    Do you have regular sexual experience, and if yes protected or non protected
