    You don't. The Recovery partition you leave alone.

    I agree with ScottGem. THe recovery partition shouldn't be messed with, erased, data saved too, etc...

    The recovery partition should be left fully in tact, it is used for repairs to your computer should anything happen. If you need more space use an external, they are fairly inexpensive now.
