I have a Harbor Breeze wet approved model C52WCF.
I have a Harbor Breeze model C52WCF. I tried to install a light kit. There is no power to the light leads coming from the fan. The fan has power and works. Any thoughts?

When the fan was originally installed someone may have not hooked up the blue lead which is normally the light. Drop the ceiling plate or cover and look for a unconnected blue lead. Turn the power off to the fan, connect the blue and black together, and turn the power on. Does the light work now?

I agree, your are working at the underside of the fan and assumed those white and blue would be hot, not. They go up into the ceiling box and were lokiely never connected since there was no light at the time. Before I tell you too many details you need to tell me how you wish to control the light and fan. Both together, with pull chains or with a remote, you pick and I'll help
