I am MARRIED to a Brazilian man and many of those stereotypes are somewhat accurate. Although I have not caught him cheating, he walks a fine line. Online texting and profiles, Facebook and even LinkedIn are his tools for 'networking.' He 'networks' with hot, single and sexy women under the age of 35 (and he is almost 50). He and I co-own a business and (at best) he works 4 hours a day? His days are three hours of gym, then a three hour nap... Runs 'errands' while I am there 7:30 AM until 6:30 PM. Claims he loves me more than life and couldn't live without me- but only after his antics reach climactic proportion. He takes an hour to get dressed and overdresses whenever possible. His cologne (which he calls perfume) is eye-watering. Pampering himself is an understatement... However, he is first to tell me I need to lose a pound or that I should "wear dark colors if you are not going to keep going to the gym" regularly.

Oh, and his entire family and all his Brazilian friends are EXACTLY the same...

Remember, folks. Stereotypes are there for a reason.
