    Rafters - beams
I have a home that is a post and beam frame. Can I replace the second story beams with rafters from the ridge to the plate at the same points as the beams?

No , you absolutely should not.
Your question needs to provide much more information.
Firstly , what are you trying to accomplish?
Why would these beams , which are a horizontally installed piece , need to be replaced?
Your question , in of itself , raises serious questions.
Anything structural should be discussed first with the appropriate engineer , or architect , or very experienced building contractor
