    Getting Pregnant & Having Trouble
Okay so I have been trying to get pregnant for about 5 months and it sucks cause as I don't get pregnant I feel that I can't have kids... my fiancée has gotten checked and he can have kids they said he has a high sperm count. We have sex like everyday and even especially on my fertile days in the morning we have tried everything... we just want a kid. So I don't really know how I would get checked to see if I am fertile or not. Could you give me ideas or details?! Pleasee

Five months of trying is nothing. It may take a year or more. Stop obsessing over getting pregnant and just relax, have fun, live your life. The more stressed you are over this, the less likely you are to get pregnant.

First stop doing it "every day" and just center on the more fertile days, you can actually hurt your chances by doing it every day. Next are you tracking your most fertile times, and making sure to center in on those.

But yes, for some people they get pregnant the first time they ever have sex, but often it can take one to two years even trying hard.

It's frustrating when you are wanting to become pregnant and it just isn't happening as quickly as you thought it would.

What were the other results of your fiance's sperm analysis? For example, the morphology (shaped/developed correctly) and the motility (having a good sense of direction). Was his testing done recently or was this done awhile back? Does he already have any children?

Your doctor usually will not consider testing until you have been actively trying for a year (unless you are in your 30's or 40's in which case they will sooner), this is because while most couples will become pregnant in that time, it can take some longer and everything is still perfectly fine. Are there any lifestyle changes the two of you might make to increase the odds... quitting smoking for example if that is something that could be addressed.

There is more to becoming pregnant than timing, which you seem to have down fine. How have you determined when you are most likely to be ovulating?
