I have a friend whom by which has a very strong vaginal odor. She keeps trying to get rid of it she said she used a douche and mesingel. But the smell just wint go away. She had a traumatic brain injury two years ago and that is when the smell first started. Please help her

There's really nothing we can do over the internet. Has she been to a gynecologist yet? She really needs to see a doctor. She may have some sort of infection. And douching is not always a good idea. She should only be doing that if her doctor has recommended it. But again, she needs to be seen by a doctor.

I agree with Justcurious. She needs to see her OB/GYN.

Douching can actually be making the odor worse. Douching is NEVER a good idea without a doctor's order as it removes the right balance of normal flora from the vagina and actually causes problems rather than curing them.
