    Life estate granted in will
My mother and stepfather own a piece of property in North Carolina each having a one half undivided interest, my stepfather died and in his will left his half interest to his children subject to a life estate therein reserved to my mother for her natural life. What are my mothers rights? Do his children have rights other than inheriting half the property when my mother dies?
