I got a comment from my mother (whoopie doo) saying she is getting fat. I grew up listening to this woman tell ME that I was fat. Guess what. Now I AM. I am NOT going to put up with her telling me she is fat or telling her that she is fat.

Do YOU think she is getting chunky or overweight?

Her mesurements have always been the same with each other. When she was 30lbs, she was 30 inches. When she was 45lbs, she was 45 inches.

Well now she is 58lbs. But only 48 inches. She looks FINE to me.

Overweight runs in our family, and I have done my damndest to keep her eating healthy so that she doesn't fall into the same habits that I did. She prefers collard greens for a snack LOL and loves apples and bannanas and other fruits. And loves veggies. She does like cookies of course, but she doesn't get them often. And she does get a can of grapefruit soda or lemon lime soda or rootbeer (her favs) once in a while, maybe once a week with dinner.

She IS larger than her classmates her age, but she is also TALLER.

Thanks both of you. I think she looks fine too. She IS in the 85th percentile for weight but that's because she is in the 85th percentile for her height too. What are they going to do? Say she is too tall and needs to lose some height? Lol.
