    Hell's Kitchen
    Hello:

The host of the show, Gordon Ramsey, promises the winner the position of HEAD CHEF at a brand new Gordon Ramsey Restaurant... This season, it's the LA Market, in the newly refurbished downtown area. These are NOT schlock restaurants, and he is not a schlock chef... They are multi million dollar properties, and he's an award winning, world renown, chef.

The contestants, on the other hand, are barely trained as line cooks. They have NO culinary training... They really suck as cooks... I don't believe that ANY of these twits could EVER run a restaurant. Ramsay would go broke if he put 'em in charge.

So, does Ramsey really put them in charge of his restaurants, or is it just a title for a TV show?

I don't know about their skill as chefs and running a restaurant, but I've managed to pick up a few new swear words from watching HK.

I loved it when one of the contestants reached into a hot oven to remove a pan and didn't use an oven mitt or pot holder. And then there was the time someone flipped an entire frying pan and its contents upside down onto the floor. Even Julia Child wasn't this much fun!
