I want to tell her, just because you don't get butterflies anymore doesn't mean you're not in love with me!

Maybe she wasn't in love with you at all, but loved feeling those butterflies, and wants to feel them again. That happens all the time with some people, not just females.

We all have things we like, and that's what makes us happy. Some even enjoy the chase, and look elsewhere when the catch what they chase. That's human. I think love is defined differently by us all. I would rather have loyalty than love, but that's just me. She needs butterflies, that's her.

Thanks, I see what you're saying... I guess it just hurts because I too have questioned whether she actually loved me or just liked the chase and the butterfly feelings. If that makes sense.

I do believe that it may be a specific thing regarding her specific relationship background. Last person she dated was on again off again. And once they hit the yr and a half mark they broke up for good. That time she got broken up with.

And that was her first love, and I noticed that when we would fight she would,lack of better term,PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) flashbacks and would say things to me that would specifically be things that happened in her last relationship

But would refer to them as if I was her ex! Like legit factual things that happened in her past relationship like, "so! u gonna go and leave me for someone else now!!!" and I would be like, "ummmm... what r u talking about??"... weird!
