    1898 Pianos Chicago Broadmoore upright Grand, plays okay walnut wash finish, price?
    I have a 1898 Upright Grand piano I believe It's a Broadmore Chicago Drk Walnut finish and it plays okay, needs some tuning but It can be played as is. I want to refinish it and would like any advice on where to start besides blowing out the back

    I know NOTHING about your piano... All I know is on Antique Roadshow, they say NEVER refinish an antique.

    What does 'blowing out the back' mean? What kind of wood is it (not the stain, if that's what you mean by walnut)?
