Hello,
I have 2children with my ex.He has not seen them in 4years this Feb. Heis new girlfriend got in touch with me yesterday to tell me what a bad person I am!She says I told my ex he can't see his kids.I have never told him that.However I did tell him he needed to stop drinking morning noon and night and make a effert to help with them! That was 4 years ago! A year ago we went to court over child support and the judge order him to pay or go to jail.After 3 yrs I was glad to hear that.About 6mths ago his girlfriend had calledd and said they wanted to see the kids and I told them fine but we needed to get together first and talk about some stuff.As he has 2 older kids that my kids don't know and my kids have a father in there life,I don't think my kids need to know him as dad right now they are to young to understand.She told me if he can't be called dad forget it! My daughter was to the last time she saw him.I held her everynioght as she cried herself to sleep begging for her sister! I can't put her through that again!Over the years I have sent pictures,emails and phone calls watched everything going on with him and his older 2 kids that to this day still asked there grandma if mommy Bri is ever going to come back!For a while there grandma was bring his kids around but when he found out he told her he would never let her see them again if this happened again.I guess my question in all of this is where do I start to get help working things out so he can see the kids?Do I have to go to court or can we meet in a lawers office?I think if it is him and me we can work something out but I don't want his girlfriend there while we are working out everything! Since they have been together I haven't talked to my ex one time because she won't allow it.We were friends for 9yrs and together for 5 I think we should be able to work something out! Any advice would help greatly!Thank you so much for taking the time to read this!

You need to learn how to use paragraphs... Because you DIDN'T, I couldn't make sense of your story... I did manage to find the above quote, though...

Fortunately, your story doesn't matter in terms of what to DO about it. Of course, you can work things out, if BOTH of you have a mind to do so. That doesn't mean that it WILL work out.. That's why they HAVE courts. But, your first impulse is correct. Call your lawyer.
