I was fired in NC - is my boss required to pay accrued vacation?
Yesterday, I was fired from my job. My boss signed a contract stating he would pay me through the week; however, I have vacation that is unused. Is he legally required to pay out my vacation? How do I enforce this?

Start by asking him for the vacation pay. Don't asssume it won't happen until he answers. Is there an employeee handbook or set of rules?
