    Contesting adoption what to exspect
    I am biological father but not on birth certificate I have contedted the adoption what can I exspect at court hearing?

    I moved your thread to family law, because this is more about the legal questions that go with adoption than the emotional and mental sides of it.

    We need to know more about your situation. How old is the child? Why are you contesting? Is the child already with adoptive parents?

    Most importantly, WHERE are you? Location is very important, because adoption laws vary by location.

    Also--do you have a lawyer? If not--why not?
