I am a female and my boyfriend have been dating for three years and we are both 20 years old. In the beginning of our relationship we used to have sex at least 5 times a week and it was very spontanious, but that changed to about once a week and very routine. Lately I just have not been wanting to have sex at all and I don't know why. I mean it's not him at all. I think he is super attractive and I think about having sex with him, but when it comes to the time I just don't have those feelings. He often makes the move, but sometimes I will just say I'm too tired or say we'll do it later. We have a perfect relationship and everything is just fine it's just the sex. I don't want him to cheat on me. What is wrong with me and what should I do?

Have you consulted with a doctor at all?

Has anything changed OUTSIDE of the bedroom in your lives?

Have you started any new medications in the time that your libido has dropped?

Have you explained feeling like this to your guy? Has he been asking you why at all and you make more excuses? Think in terms of your relationship, remaining open and communicative will help him from running off to get his pleasure elsewhere. So be open with him, let him know it is NOT him and that your feeling less active and your thinking of seeing the doc or finding some way to help it. He will be supportive and helpful instead of you hiding it from him and him getting more suspicious.. if he is.. Just be aware you should be telling him this stuff!
It may be something you should go to your doctor about, there are some things that can drop your sexual activity pretty low so it might be worthwhile to go and talk to someone about it.
Another thing might just be you are too used to one another, this is in no way a bad thing! Our brains just crave to learn and have new things happening, when things are the same for too long and become routine we feel restless and unfulfilled. Maybe you two need to spice it up, toys costumes vacations what have you! If you have sex the same day a week it can become unexciting, and more like a chore... sorry if that's depressing! It might just be the need to mix things up? Either way talk to your guy about your worries on this, it's important for him to know so you two don't drift apart... My pain meds have done the same thing to me. I want to have sex, but when it comes down to doing it. I just have no interest at all... but I have sex but I get nothing out of it... I think it is the meds that is causing mine
