    I'm going through a divorce. About a year ago, my husband put $20,000 on my personal credit card to cover expenses for his business. Now he refuses to make the card payments and my credit is suffering. The judge may rule that he has to pay it, but is there a way to get it off my credit record, either now, or after the divorce is final? It's not in collections, but it's keeping me from being able to find a new place to live.

    Not unless he gives you the funds to pay for it. This may be required as part of the divorce settlement.
