    Can u pay restitution in exchange for a criminal charge dropped in nj?
    Is there a law that allows a person to pay restitution. In exchange for the dropping of a criminal charge in the state of nj?

    No. There's no law like that. That doesn't mean you can't pay your victim off so they don't press charges... There's no law against that.

    You will be ordered often to pay restitution plus fines and convictions.

    I would doubt you can get that plea deal, but your attorney can always try
