I was on depo for 4 or 5 years quit 2 months ago still no period. What do I do? The only time I've ever had one when I was on depo was the last month before I quit getting the shot I had a period that lasted over a week. But none now?

You may or may not see a return to a regular cycle for awhile. With the depo injection, some women will regain regular cycles, and fertility, fairly soon after their last injection is no longer effective. Other women find their cycles are off for many months afterwards.

Unfortunately, many women are not told ahead of time, or they don't think it will be an issue for them, that using depo provera for birth control may not be the best choice if they are wanting to try and become pregnant soon after stopping its use.
