    Health Care
    Hello:

The debate with the righty's ALWAYS ends up with them saying that NOBODY in this great country of ours, goes WITHOUT health care. If that were so, then I'd be pissed off too about zillions being spent unnecessarily... I think they even believe their own stuff too...

But, of course, the FACTS say something else... People DO die. I don't know HOW the righty's miss it. Really, I don't know how they do it... Here's YET another example of the death panel the righty's refuse to believe is there...

Can you explain how this happens in a country where EVERYBODY gets health care??

    Hello tom:

So, if there WEREN'T a government system set up to PAY for health care for the poor, the poor would receive all the health care they need??

I KNOW you believe that.. That's really bizarre.. It IS the government, of course, that REQUIRES emergency rooms to treat everybody that shows up... If the government dropped THAT requirement, you believe, incredulously, that people WOULD get the care they needed from the private sector??

    Dude!

“As an agency, we understand there have been difficult cuts and there will have to be more difficult cuts looking forward,” said Jennifer Carusetta, chief legislative liaison at the state Medicaid agency.

Imagine those words from the Federal Coordinating Council for Comparative Effectiveness. It's going to happen under Obamacare.

According to the article ,the decision is being made to cut the Medicaid because of new Obamacare provisions .
I don't know if that is true .What I do know is that across the country these socialized medicaid programs are collapsing and hard choices are being made about patient care and quality of care. This is just portents of things to come in this push towards universal socialized care .
But Obamacare is the law of the land now . Why is Arizona responsible for this ? Obama will take care of all of us .

Yet more good news on the health care front...

New Poll Confirms IBD's '09 Finding Of Doctor Exodus Under ObamaCare

a Merritt Hawkins survey of 2,379 doctors for the Physicians Foundation completed in August has vindicated our poll. It found that 40% of doctors said they would "retire, seek a nonclinical job in health care, or seek a job or business unrelated to health care" over the next three years as the overhaul is phased in.
And in the UK, NHS reaching 'breaking point', doctors warn.

I wonder why... on either front.

Middle school in Maine to offer birth control pills, patches to pupils When I was in school about the only good school "health care" was for was a bandaid, an excuse to skip a class or a pan to puke in. What on earth (or in the constitution) gives public schools the right to prescribe drugs...
