Wondering if I was exposed to carbon monoxide
My husband and I ate a restaurant today and the food was great, we were in the restaurant for about 30 minutes. Within 2 minutes of leaving the restaurant, I developed an intense headache that was so bad I had nausea that made me feel like vomitting. I took 3 ibuprofens for the headache thinking it was sinus. Anyhow, we drove to a local wal-mart about 2 miles down the road and by the time we were inside, my husband started feeling the same way. Within another 5 minutes, my head was totally congested feeling, and I could hardly hear. Again, my husband had the same experience. All of these symptoms were totally gone within 20 minutes of them starting for both of us. I made fun of him at first saying he was having sympathy pains. Then I remembered at that restaurant, they said their furnace had quit working today and they had to close the exhaust to be able to warm the dining room. By this point, I called the restaurant to make sure everyone there was OK, and they were. Could this have been some form of carbon monoxide poisioning? We both feel fine now and have for several hours. Thanks for your time
