    Black to ginger?
I have black hair, I want to put a bleach through it to get it lighter I don't care if it goes giger as that is my natual hair colour, as I want it to go back to that anyway but I am going to make it more vibrant, can I put a bleach threw it then if I don't care if it goes ginger anyway?

It won't go ginger, it'll go a horrible brassy colour with patches. Its not advised to do that to your hair because it can fry it completely! Go to a salon and get it stripped, they can strip away most of it and then add toners to have a nice natural colour. It only costs around £50-£60 and it won't damage your hair. If you really want to go down the bleaching route id use the manic panic bleach lightening kit then use a leave in conditioner over night to reduce the damage. You'll have to add toners and then wait a few days before you add more colour or bleach it again.. it may take about a week or two to get to the colour you want completely. If your hair gets really damaged during the process I would go to your local hair dressers and ask them what to do next. If your hair is thin the damage will be a lot more noticeable and might leave you with split ends and dry, straw like hair so make sure you follow the instructions very very carefully! Good luck!

My advice to you would be that if you can't make it to a hair professional, skip the bleach (seriously!) and instead use a color remover, such as Colorfix or Color Oops. These products are much easier on hair and only target the artificial color molecules, shrinking them enough so that they can be rinsed/washed away. Typically, this process will return your hair to the closest shade/base color of your natural color, but since you have black hair, this may (or may not) take more than one attempt. Just be sure to follow the directions to the letter! Folica.com has loads of reviews on color remover products, so you might like to do some research on that site.
