I moved to Aust with my 2 small kids in 2000, married an aust guy in 2002 he had 2 kids from 1st marriage and I had my 2 from a 1st relationship his being 1 & 3 mine being 4 & 7 at the time , everything was great, he did drink a lot I realized he is an achohlic anyway , my kids always came second place in everything, he drinks everyday and I lasted 9 years in the marriage and left came back home to the states after selling our home in Australia. It's been 15 months since we have spoken off and on thinking we would try to get back together and make the marriage work but something always seems to happen so bottom line it over he has moved on and I;m very happy home with my kids.in go old USA YEAH HA. He is a very successful general electrical that has millions of dollars of contracts for high rise projectsin sudney ahead of him for the next 3 to 6 years of work which is great ( excepte he's an F- - - - *** ____), we need to get a divorce,it's done I want to know what I'm entitled to and how do I get a divorce from the states, I can't afford to fly to australia and I can't afford a lawyer, do I just sign the papers and settle for nothing after 9 years of everything , I left my family, friends and took my kids from there family and american holidays everything they should have grown up with , but didn't holloween , thanksgiving they don't have any of that in Aust. when we came back my son being 16 year old son ask me one day MOM what's that I looked it was a squirral what the you know he had never seen one before I had to teach them the money , where in the store and I have a 16 year old boy and a 14 year old girl asking me what this mom a dime what a dime 10 cents come on.. just the simple thing I never realize , please are we entiltled to anything?
