    Can my spousal support be stopped by my husband if it was court ordered
    My husband was ordered to pay me spousal support for one year and a half and its been only 6 months he's been paying.. can he stop paying me spousal support if he wanted to?

    Can my husband stop paying my spousal support if he was court ordered to pay me for one year and a half... Its only been 6 months since he has been paying... The judgement has not been signed/filed yet on my part..

    As long as it's actually court ordered, he can't just stop paying. He's obligated until he fulfills the year and a half. IF his financial status would change however, he could go back to court to change the amount being paid though.
