I'm a 14 year old girl who has a boyfriend and I'm in love with someone else. My boyfriend and I have been going out for about a week now and id say it was going OK, we both love sports, always have to be the best couple, and ignore all the drama that people say about us. We have been friends for a couple months and have never changed that; he is being the usual trustworthy generic boyfriend that is always checking up to see if your OK. But the thing is, I'm falling for another guy. This guy is 17 and we have been friends for about a year. I know what your thinking, seventeen watch out, but he isn't your typical seventeen year old. He has been like a brother to me since the first day we met, he has the same passion for football as I do volleyball, he protects me from the sicko boys at school, and we hang out with the same people. I'm not an average girly girl, I mean I love american eagle but most of my friends are in sports. Anyway for the past week everyone has been telling me that this guy I hang out with likes me and I don't see it. So I started looking out for any signs that he liked me and sure enough there they were. So the next time we hung out and he was walking home with me I asked if he did. The wierdest part was that when he said yes he stopped and took out a jewlery case and said "i dont care if u have a boyfriend but i want to be with you, even if only you and i know. i see how simon treats u like any other girl he is with, but i can treat u better, with respect and i can give you a long relationship that we both want."... I just stood there like a deer in the headlights. He opened the box and it was a sterlingsilver necklace with one tiny diamond in a circle from tiffany&co.! He knows that's my favorite store. So of course I'm standing there like holy blah blah blah. I told him to give me time to think about it and closed the case, he said OK and that he would wait as long as it took. So now its thanksgiving break and I have until tomorrow morning to make up my mind or its going to show all over my face to my boyfriend. Oh and all of my boyfriends friends will dispise me because they thought we would last forever. Should I break up with my boyfriend or let down someone who has always been there for me??

Hey read your whole story and its preety confusing for me too... but I just want to know some things if you can answer me
1st) does your current boyfriend dose`nt love you or is not considerate about you?
And as per reading your story its not been that long in your current relationship so its not as if you are with him for years or so... so its fine you know the other guy he likes you and even you like him and you are falling for him than I guess you can give this relation a try with this new guy nothing is wrong but you should be sure about him cause you are to young so be sure before falling into anything but before saying yes to this guy make sure you breakup with your current boyfriend and explain him everything otherwise when later he will come to know from some one else than he will feel betrayed so make sure you do that.reading your post I am getting it that you want to be with this guy than just follow your heart. But breakup with your current boyfriend and please make sure this17 yrs old guy is not going to play with your feelings cause you are in a very fragile age.
Rest I will say JUST FOLLOW YOUR HEART but make sure you don`t cheat or betray another guy. OK god luck

I use to hate girls like you who were dishonest about their feelings, and easily confused, and loyal only until the next guy gave them some attention.

That's my advice, start being an honest loyal human being who knows what the right thing is, and does it.

In case you didn't know, you should have told your boyfriend it was over, before you accept and think over an offer from another guy.

Welcome to teen drama. You're 14, you've been with your current "boyfriend" for a week. Did you think it would last forever anyway? You're 14! I have news for you, even if you break up with the one week guy, the next guy most likely won't be the last boyfriend you have either.

So here's the question. What do you want to do? Do you want to break up with the one week fling and date the guy you've been friends with for years? Or do you want to give you short little relationship a try?

If you choose the second guy be warned that your friendship will probably no longer exist when you two break up, and at 14 and 17, sooner or later you two will break up.
