It wouldn't be the first time I've played ambulance driver and rushed to hospital. They see me coming and refer to their blood type as the usual. 3 years ago my oldest decided to place blankets on the couch and booggie boarded off the sofa. He broke his arm in three places. Six hours later and major surgery, he had his arm surgically pinned. The doc could not keep a straight face whenever he talked about it. He said he'd been a surgeon for 20 years and my son was his first boogie board accident. Not too soon after that, ( I swear, the guardian angels are working over time with these 2) . I was doing laundry and hear wheeeeeeeee, thump thump thump and a lot of laughter,my youngest used my clothes basket to sled down the stairs. I was a basket case. I can't describe how I felt. I just knew I could'nt move. If I did he would've really needed a doctor.
Allheart, I'llbe popping in tomorrow to say Hi. And seeing how everyone is doing.
With those two kids, you think I would hang on to everyone?
I've already been on this branch before. I can make sure you stay on.

Oh heart, the last ting I want to do is bring you down. I was only kidding. I would never let go of you. If you're having a down day, I'll hold on tighter.
If I can survive Ryan going down the stairs, my heart will handle one more.

You know... I'm TERRIFIED of falling. Like... I can't stand on a chair to hang things on the wall terrified. It's an actual phobia with me, with the panic attacks and everything. Not heights, just falling. And I want to do the stairs in a laundry basket too.

    Please?

Yesterday was awful... I searched this entire apartment for a smoke. Smart hubby got rid of them... but I was going to be bad. I wasn't, because I couldn't find any, but I *wanted* to so badly.

Glad to hear you're all still hanging in there!

(Next weekend, by the way, will be the true test. 5 hour drive to my mother's, a weekend with my family, and a 5 hour drive back. Alone. Ugh.)

Oh god I've really started something. I'll open my own thrill ride. Just bring crash helmets. I'll let ryan teach everyone and promise not to ground him.
Oh syn, I can imagine what it was like wanting one so badly. Give hubby a kiss for cleaning out the secret stashes. It's okay to want one. But I wonder if it wasn't a relief when there were none to be found. Cause I think if you wanted one that badly, you would've gone out to get them. But you didn't. As with all addictions, there's a little anxiety when we first realize we've been without them. The cigis were our security blanket, to help relieve our times of stress. Being without them we have to create new habits. But If I haven't already said it, I'm very proud of you Syns. It took strength to admit you wanted one rather than needed one. There is a difference
Mothers and families can be trying on the nerves. (trust me on this one). Maybe because we're so closely intuned we know what buttons to push. But you'll bave a five hour drive to relax and prepare. Here's a mantra to keep saying over and over again to help see you through.
"I AM A WOMAN FULL OF SPIRIT, FULL OF LIFE AND LIFE GIVING. I EMBODY ALL AROUND ME AND I AM A GODDESS DIVINE".
Plus there is your other family here who will be waiting for you. As for being afraid of heights. I am not letting go. I've been on this branch and I know how to hold on.
If the mantra doesn't work, we'll send your mother down the stairs in the basket.

    Love you lotss Beth

    LOL... that made me laugh!

Actually, I love my mother. She's one of my best friends, now that I'm an adult. It's the REST of my family that I could do without. Greedy conniving annoying people!

My mom needs my help though (my parents are moving out of the house I grew up in to another state, and my mom is panicking), so unless the weather is bad, I'll be heading over. If it's snowing though, she can do it herself. What should have been a 5 hour trip was 9 hours when we went home for Christmas, due to the snow.

All right, I'm off to bed. Talk to my fellow goddesses tomorrow from work!

I won't look at the pup again. Those big brown eyes got to me the first time. Iwould never forgive myself if I fell and harley was deprived of her biscuit.
Cbw, I woke up the same way. Its cold here in jersey and we had snow last night. Just enough to tease the boys but luckily, no battles like Friday.
Okay, now we have a thrill ride and a name for it. I better up my home owners insurance before we open it. We should all try it out for fun before we open to the general public.
Allheart, I hope you have a better day today than yesterday.
Cbw, I hope millie bets into a better mood so you have some peace on the top branch with the rest of us.
Syn, I hope you have a good day ay work and her royal nastiness keeps off your radar.

    Love you alllllllllll

Just cheering everybody on. Not going to take over the thread like that teenager one day that must have been let loose on the computer. All his posts were erased anyway. No one probably even remembers.

Okay, Now I do have an addiction for you which I have been struggling with. I know it might sound silly. Here goes:

    FOOD.

Yes, I have a hard time resisting that Mcdonalds meal sometimes or eating out or eating in. Both my wife and I find it hard making all homemade food now that the little one is here, but we just made a deal.

No more café food from work, no more restaurant food, no more take out, no more delivery. Nothing but from the grocery store for ONE WHOLE YEAR!

Anyway, I hope you all have a great day, and did not mean to hijack the thread lol.

OMG Joe that new picture of the little guy is just way too cute!

And you hijack anytime you wish :)

Hey, you and your wife can hang out with us on the top branch. We all stand together. You guys can do this. Every time you give in to those awful greasy fast food burgers, you just lust us know, and then one of us gets to light up :) Deal? WoW that may not be fair, but we have poor Harely on our mind, so in comparison, we went "light" on you (no pun intended)

Today, for some reason, the urge to smoke is increasing. What the heck is with that? Thank God for all of you and mentally I am so strong. But the urge is increasing not decreasing.

I just love you guys. Many hugs.

(the boss is really in a nasty mood today. But we all have days like that.)

    Hugs again.
