h4 to h1b done ssn required
I was on h4 and I got my h1b recently approved but have not received any paper yet.should I apply for ssn? I have heard that it takes time to update the chnaged visa status in visa office and ssn people ask for information form visa department and if they do nt get the updated info it takes a long time to get a ssn. Should I wait tin 10 days to apply for ssn?or just apply for it as soon as I get my paper in hand?
