    The house I am renting is being forclosed for taxes, How can I purchase it?
    My husband and I rented a condo in October. The other day we get a notice on the door saying it is being forclosed for $18000 in taxes. I want to know is there a way that we can purchase it for the taxes owed and can a payment plan be worked out for us or is there any programs to assist us?

    Yes but it won't be just for $18,000. The county will sell this at auction for the best price they can get. They keep the $18K and the old owner gets the balance. Call your assessor's office and ask when the property will be auctioned.
