Small whitehead on underside of penis
Hello,
I have had a small white head on the underside of my penis for 8 months now. I went to the doctor and had it looked at and within 10 seconds of him looking at it he said "that's nothing." It hasn't gone away and it tends to get bigger if there is friction within the area. I'm afraid it could be a wart or something but I figured the doctor would know upon looking at it. It does not itch, no discharge, should I seek a second opinion or not worry about this? I would hate to infect a partner if I had something... |

If it looks like a whitehead but won't pop like a pimple then it very well could be a wart. I would go and get a second opinion, sounds to me like it is HPV which is a virus and isn't something to be too alarmed about. (about 75% of the population has it and doesn't even know it because there is no way to test for it unless you get a symptom like in your case) You can get this simply from skin to skin contact with someone who does have the symptoms and you don't even have to have sex to get it. If it is that they will simply freeze the wart off and that would be it. In most cases it goes undetected with no symptoms and your body will fight off the virus like it would a common cold.
