My name is Kaymera and I'm 17. Ive been dating my boyfriend Robert for a year and two months now. We have had our share of ups and downs and now I just don't know what to do. When we first got into a relationship I feel that we kind of rushed into it. Both us weren't really ready to be together and he cheated on me 2 weeks into our relationship. I just found out about it a couple months ago. I had been flirting and things of that nature but never got to the point where I would cheat. Yes I am also to blame in this because I did lie about a few of the people I was flirting with but eventually told the truth. Now he feels I'm a liar and doesn't express himself as much as he use to. We were talking the other day and he said he just can't do the relationship anymore because I have to many male friends. And every time I try to explain anything he tunes me out and just says I'm lying and calls me a liar. I still haven't put my full trust back in him either yet. I want us to be able to trust each other again and come to a mutual agreement of what to do. I love him with all my heart and is willing to do anything and everything to make it work. But if its not meant to be I will have to face it.

Okay you flirt, but he is the one who is a lying cheater, so the name calling is not really that cool is it? He doesn't trust you because he knows he is a lying cheater, and your flirting relieves him of guilt or responsibility for his actions. Don't know if he is worth all that work, and you may waste years trying to trust him again, and he may never stop calling you names you don't deserve. What's the most disturbing is you think its okay to excuse his cheating because it was partly your fault, and its not.

Also I don't know how you found out he was cheating on you, but it sounds like he got caught, and would never have told you otherwise. These are all red flags that this is one unhealthy relationship, and don't you think you deserve better treatment than you are getting? I do, so dump this guy.

Both of you are completely right. And he told me he had cheated on me. And yea I do deserve better but he has my heart and I'm not perfect either. During one of our breakups I slept with one of my old friends but never told him. I feel that I shouldn't have to because it was while we weren't together but then I hate that I'm keeping it from him. What should I do about that ? Im just so confused. He is right, this relationship is a big lie! Maybe it should end, as you both have little regard for honesty, or loyalty!
