    Changing deeds
    My late husband passed away 3years ago and only now have I learned the deeds of the house are only in his name how do I get them changed over ? Also could I have my daughters names on them .

    First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

    I gather that his estate was never probated? If not, you may have to do so. Otherwise you will have to prove to the registrar of deeds that you were his only heir. I suggest going to whatever agency registers deeds for your county (usually the County Clerk) and ask them what you need to do.
